Now enrolling for Summer 2025! Call TODAY to find out if there is still availability in your age group.

Thank you for expressing your interest in joining the Camp America Day Camp team!

By opting to spend your summer with us, you’ll have a profound impact on children’s lives, forge meaningful friendships, and enhance your life and work skills. We actively seek enthusiastic, flexible, and dynamic individuals to become part of the Camp America family. There are various roles within CA (though not always available in every department). All CA staff must undergo a Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, Pennsylvania child abuse history clearance, and a Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal background check, including fingerprinting. The 39-day commitment will prove to be a life changing experience.

Are you a preschool teacher or a caregiver experienced with young children? If so, the role of Midgie Mommy may be ideal for you. Responsible for our youngest campers aged 2.5 to 5 years old, Midgie Mommies play a crucial role in addressing developmental needs, whether it involves assisting with toileting or offering comforting hugs. Patience, kindness, love, organization, and helpfulness are essential qualities for Midgie Mommies.

Our lively and attentive senior bunk counselors are entrusted with the safety and well-being of a specific group of campers, divided by age and gender. A genuine love for fun, coupled with an understanding of the campers’ best interests, is vital. Senior bunk counselors must actively participate in all camp activities, including swimming.

Specialists are the backbone of Camp America, contributing expertise in designated areas with certified training, being responsible for crafting dynamic and enjoyable programs for every age group.

The pool staff at Camp America consists of an elite team of trained swim instructors and lifeguards. Possessing a current and valid American Red Cross lifeguarding certification with first aid and CPR is a requirement. Pool staff members are dedicated to advancing campers’ swimming abilities through the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Senior pool staff evaluate their campers twice during the summer and provide progress reports to parents.

Junior Counselors at Camp America Day Camp, typically graduates of our CIT (Counselor in Training) Program, are motivated individuals passionate about fun and understand the responsibility of caring for campers. If you haven’t gone through our program but are eager to contribute to camper development, we encourage you to apply.
